A Motor Control Center (MCC) panel centrally organizes multiple motor feeders—each with starters, circuit breakers or fuses, overload relays, disconnect switches, and optional VFDs or metering—for centralized motor control and protection.
An Intelligent MCC (IMCC) includes all MCC features plus intelligent motor protectors (e.g. SIMOCODE), enabling communication via protocols like Modbus or Profinet to PLC/DCS for diagnostics, control and reduced hard‑wiring complexity.
